Spark: An EDS Professional Development Program
Spark is an educational program created for talented individuals from manufacturers, manufacturers representatives and distributors in the electronic components industry. Participating in Spark benefits everyone: you, your company, EDS and the electronic components industry. Spark 2021 will be held virtually this year over a 5‑week period, 4 hours per week. Each session will be presented using Zoom and all sessions will have a level interaction and teamwork to enhance learning and build networks.
Aimed at educating and developing our industry’s next generation of professionals, Spark includes:
- An introduction to the electronics components industry
- Industry experts sharing knowledge of topics, current events and future outlooks in electronic components
- Interactive workshops bringing awareness to the impact of personal brands and individual development
- Opportunities to interact with peers and industry leaders to increase your network
There is a limit of 2 attendees per company. The maximum number of attendees is 20. We suggest your attendees have less than 5 years in the industry. The $500 registration cost includes access to all program sessions, presentations and materials, and invitation to join the Spark alum LinkedIn group. Completion of the introductory Spark program satisfies the prerequisite required to attend the advanced Spark 2.0 program.
